I have been active on Wikipedia since 2016. Initially I focused on improving the coverage of Indian Padma Bhusan and Padma Vibhusan awardees. I also added many articles covering known historical landmarks. There was a lot to learn and many mistakes were made, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time.
Later I became involved with Wikimedia in different capacity — we worked on a project to understand and quantify biases in coverage of women articles across language Wikipedias. Currently, graduate school commitments keep me fairly occupied but I try to do a few things here and there.
