Comment on requested unblock by The Hybrid While he was on Wikipedia, Mike was one of my best friends (we still maintain off-wiki contact to a certain degree), and a great contributor other than the copyvios. I would love to see him unblocked. If he is, I will make sure that if he doesn't abstain from image uploads, which I would recommend that he do, that all of his copyright claims are verified. I am friends with User:Metros, an admin who has had great success dealing with copyright violations in the past, and User:Caribbean H.Q., who has admin contacts on Commons. I would make sure he doesn't violate copyrights anymore, and if he did I would report him to ANI. After he was blocked I was the first of his friends to condemn what he did, and we didn't speak for some time afterwards. The Hybrid T/C 01:12, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
