Takht-i-Bahi
Takht-i-Bahi are the ruins of a 1st-century CE Buddhist monastery complex located in what was once the ancient Indian region of Gandhara, in the present-day northern Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is representative of Buddhist monastic architecture from its era and the ruins were listed as a World Heritage Site in 1980, with UNESCO describing it as having been "exceptionally well-preserved". Pictured here is an aerial view of the complex, showing its various chambers and courtyards.Photograph credit: Muzamil Hussain Toori; retouched by UnpetitproleX

Hello Amar, welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for all your good work on mathematics and physics topics.

You've probably already seen them, but if not, you might find these links helpful in editing pages or creating new ones: How to edit a page, Tutorial, Naming conventions, Manual of Style. You should probably read our policies at some point too.

But don't feel you have to read every policy document before you do anything. Dive in, be bold in editing, and if you do anything wrong, someone will be quick to correct it and let you know (hopefully, politely!)

If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!

Again, welcome! -- ALargeElk | Talk 08:38, 11 Jun 2004 (UTC)
