A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Ashley Purdy is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ashley Purdy until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Good morning Avicennasis! I noticed you've edited the topic Jimmy Edgar somewhat recently, and was hoping to collect viewpoints on an aesthetic issue. If you had a minute to contribute to the discussion/vote on the infobox photo, that would be very helpful. Earflaps (talk) 11:11, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
Can AvicBot fix the double redirects from Ron Henley to Ron Henley (temp) to Ron Henley (chess)? I'm working to fix a situation. BMK (talk) 00:15, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

AvicBots edit to IAfrica doesn't seem to make sense as the page was fine before and now is misleading. Having stumbled on what I see as an error, I effectively reverted AvicBots edit. Is AvicBot functioning OK?
I've now seen at Primedia history that a mistake was made when "Shortride moved page Primedia to RentPath: name change" that was later corrected-no sweat!DadaNeem (talk) 22:27, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

Hello and good afternoon (at least it is afternoon where I am). I was looking at the Wikipedian firefighters category and noticed that you are one of the members of the Wikipedia community that lists yourself as being a firefighter. First and foremost let me say thank you for your service. While I myself am not a firefighter, I do work as a photographer with multiple local fire departments. I am honored to have firefighters as some of my closest friends.
I have been taking an active role in the Fire Service WikiProject and am trying to recruit more members to this cause. If this is something you have any interest in, please let me know? You can leave me a message on my talk page. Obviously there is zero obligation. An interest can be anything from helping out with a couple of pages in your local area to helping to overhaul major templates, and anything in between.
Once again, thank you for your service. Hope to hear from you soon. Stay safe! --Zackmann08 (talk) 17:49, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

This was an unfortunate edit. The term "modding out" is generally used far more broadly than its use in modular arithmetic. I've redirected to modulo (jargon).
Does this bot always "fix" double redirects merely by making them redirects to the ultimate target that was already there? It seems to me that that can be destructive, as in this instance. Michael Hardy (talk) 18:36, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
Dear User,
As you are one of the contributors to Tunisian Arabic. You are kindly asked to review the part about Domains of Use and adjust it directly or through comments in the talk page of Tunisian Arabic.
Yours Sincerely,

I notice that AvicBot has "fixed" all these double redirects after America was moved to America (disambiguation). But America (film), for example, should redirect to the disambiguation page, not the United States article, and there are about a dozen more. Would you be able to fix them, please? Which wiki still has in-page links for Java (programming language)? --Izno (talk) 13:52, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
I myself write the plot of the article, so that is impossible that I have copied me in "revolvy.com", is more. This link get provided says "Content from Wikipedia under CC-BY-SA licensed." So I'm going to ask that you investigate well or at least a test that I I have copied from some website.--Philip J Fry • (talk) 05:06, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
Since Category:People of Jewish descent says "This page lists individuals who are of Jewish descent, but not Jewish. Please use the Category:Jews for those.", are you sure this edit was a good idea? Debresser (talk) 09:50, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

Hello Avicennasis. Please could you move all the pre-1989 categories back to XXXX in Burma. The country was not called Myanmar at this time, and we name categories according to countries name in the year mentioned in the category (this is why we have e.g. Category:1978 in Rhodesia or Category:1979 in South-West Africa, not 1978 in Zimbabwe or 1979 in Namibia). Thanks, Number 57 19:16, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
(to Avicennasis) I think you might have noticed (the moves stopped), but it appears that you're only moving the talk pages, not the actual categories. Also, a couple of the talk pages got moved to "Bumra", not "Burma". -Niceguyedc Go Huskies! 23:27, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
You can not move back owing to page history. Stop cut-and-paste moves. Refer to Wikipedia:How to fix cut-and-paste moves, Help:Page history. Restore all pages histories. All of your reverting must follow Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Speedy. Sawol (talk) 05:14, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
I noticed this and have reverted quite a lot, but probably not all. I mostly left category redirects, but do not think the result is very useful at Category:20th-century establishments in Myanmar which looks as if it has a fairly full set of categories, but all the blue links up to the 1980s are redirects. The redirects may be useful for other purposes, so I think we should subst and then trim that century template. – Fayenatic London 19:25, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
Thanks to Number 57, Niceguyedc, and Fayenatic london for helping me clear up this mess, and apologizes for my role in making it. Avicennasis @ 18:54, 21 Elul 5775 / 18:54, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi there. These two terms define different things: intersex for people born with atypical sex characteristics (a physical condition, see also disorders of sex development), while transgender relates to an internal sense of identity that doesn't match assignment at birth, see also gender dysphoria. A couple of recent edits including [1] don't reflect this, assuming that all intersex people are transgender. Trankuility (talk) 01:04, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi Avicennasis. I was wondering why AvicBot keeps adding {{Commons category|Lotus F1 cars}} to Category:Hispania Formula One cars. As far as I'm aware there is no relationship between the Hispania and Lotus teams. Regards. DH85868993 (talk) 10:31, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
Please do not replace the " commonscat " tags. These point directly to the category - not like that ' commons ' tag that searches for a respective page. Thanks I'm so tired (talk) 14:36, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
Following the "keep" closure for the CFD of Category:Dry places in New Jersey, I've followed the closer's recommendation and submitted a new CFD to rename it to Category:Dry municipalities in New Jersey. Please offer your opinion at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2015 September 16 if you have one. Nyttend (talk) 15:27, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
Please immediately stop your bot from making edits like this, for which there is no consensus, in the ongoing discussion. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 10:00, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
Well done for tagging orphan talk pages for deletion. Keep up the good work but to avoid overfacing us poor admins, may I request that when you do a burst of tagging you only do enough to keep the number of articles in CAT:CSD at less than 200. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:07, 23 September 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for doing all this cleanup work - you found some really old orphaned pages!--Mojo Hand (talk) 14:28, 23 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Đò Quan Bridge, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Red River. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello Avicennasis, I see you have been doing great work with orphaned Talk pages. Could you please let me know how you manage to find Talk pages without a parent page as I have always wondered if this was possible. Thanks, JMHamo (talk) 21:54, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
Please see Talk:Insider trading#Conflict of interest template added: No reason given. It appears an edit you made did something wrong with a navbox. Presumably that is an AWB problem, but if you can confirm that it was an AWB issue, it should be reported for fixing. Johnuniq (talk) 10:05, 28 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi. Why do categories such as Category:Immediate children/ and Category:Immediate children/Cichlidae exist? --MZMcBride (talk) 04:23, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
Dear Avicennasis: I was doing a Google search and the tracking page above came up in the results. If that's what you intended, no problem, but just in case it was an oversight and you had intended the list to be private but forgot to add a "NOINDEX", I thought I would point it out.—Anne Delong (talk) 15:50, 31 October 2015 (UTC)
A month ago the bot made this edit. I was wondering if it would be possible to have the bot leave a message some place that a template page is redirected to a article page. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 00:04, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
