Hi, thanks for making a change in the "ellipsis" section at WP:MOS. On WT:MOS#Stability and WP:CONSENSUS, we've just started talking again about how to figure out which changes have "consensus", and I pointed to your edit as an example of something that might not have consensus. In fact, the point is that there wasn't anything terribly wrong with your edit, but that's not the point; there's a message at the top of every guideline and policy page that says "make sure your edit reflects consensus"...that is, not just a good idea, but something Wikipedians believe already.
