Hey everyone! It's been quite a while since the last newsletter went out but it's time to tune up those guitars, set the amps to 11, and rock out a bit. Or for us old guys, put on the fingerpicks and set the amp to 3. A lot of people have been laboring away at guitar articles and their efforts are to be applauded. If you haven't edited in a while, why not pick an article from Category:Stub-Class guitarist articles and expand it? Or better yet, pick one from the article requests and create it. More tasks can be found on the main project page in the WikiProject Guitarists open tasks box.

Volunteers needed

• The Guitar equipment task force needs editors to work on guitar equipment articles. Many articles for guitar manufacturers, guitar models, amps, and effects are basically one-sentence stubs or written like advertisements. If you're interested in this type of article, visit the task force page to sign up and browse Category:Guitar equipment task force articles for things to work on.
• If you are interested in assessing guitarist articles, please see the assessment department. At one time, we had it cleared out, but there are now a lot of articles in Category:Unassessed guitarist articles.
