Of course you can create your own user page; it's free of charge to you. Go ahead, and don't hesitate to start editing User:Joshmaul. ;) About the images: If you are unsure as to whether or not an image is acceptable to upload, check Wikipedia:Image use policy. For copyright tags, there's Wikipedia:Image copyright tags. I am not sure of what sort of images you manipulated. Can you verify if the original images are in public domain or supply their URL's?
