The problem of admin overreach needs to be dealt with. And ANI is a (very large) part of the problem, and will never be part of any real solution. It's a drama-filled hivemind, where admins relish flexing their WikiMuscles and admin-wannabes offer attaboys, attempting to burnish their credentials for RFA. It's become nothing more than another forum for at which to shop when attempting to get people blocked.
