The following error message will appear when the counter needs to be updated:
- MJL may want to increment {{User talk:MJL/Banner}} to
|counter=9as User talk:MJL/Archive 8 is larger than the set 31Kb (help).
This is based off the message used in {{Archive basics}}:
- You may want to increment {{Archive basics}} to
|counter= 1as [[{{{archive}}}]] is larger than the recommended 150Kb.
Notes
I kept finding updating the counter was a chore, so I customized {{Archive basics}} to suite my needs. Now all I need to do is click the right link and update the counter rather than digging through my subpages to find this one and fixing it manually. –MJL ‐Talk‐☖ 18:13, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
