One of the first studies on MCS focused on possible long-term potentiation in the hippocampus and neural sensitization as a central mechanism.[27] Later studies examined the role of the inflammatory process and found that brain inflammation was correlated with symptoms of MCS.[27] In 1999, Meggs proposed that MCS is caused by low molecular weight chemicals that bind to chemoreceptors on sensory nerve C-fibers leading to the release of inflammatory mediators.[28] McKeown-Eyssen showed that polymorphisms in the CYP2D6 allele was responsible for variation in toxicant metabolism pathways that may cause differences in susceptibility to MCS. [29] Pall identified evidence suggesting elevated nitric oxide and peroxynitrite (NO/ONOO-) as the etiology for MCS and several related conditions including fibromyalgia....

The toll of industrial pollution has amounted to some 140000 unnecessary deaths annually plus illnesses comprising as much as 40% of the "NHS bill. Wasting almost 20% of the NHS budget on “managers" has not cured the causes. The range of immune system malfunction related diseases includes autism, ME, SLE, multiple chemical sensitivity, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, gulf war syndrome, celiac disease, polymyalgia rheumatica & fibromyalgia.

Article "Future Pilot" speedily deleted for failure to assert significance. Future Pilot article should be retained because of WP:MUSIC, Criteria for Musicians and Ensembles, part 9: "Has won or placed in a major music competition." The New Mexico music awards is a major music competition, and Future Pilot indeed placed in this competition. I believe I stated this clearly in my article. Please reconsider your deletion. Thank you. ~~
