I think you should watch Jackie Brown again and see that it's a black comedy film. A crime thriller is like New Jack City and Goodfellas. A black comedy film is like Pulp Fiction and The Wolf of Wall Street. See the difference, numbskull? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ty45674 (talkcontribs) 01:59, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Jackie Brown differs in tone considerably from either of the other films you listed, and is not a comedy of any variety. I invite you to actually check the listed genre of of the film at IMDB (Jackie Brown at IMDB), as well as on its Rotten Tomatoes page (Jackie Brown at Rotten Tomatoes), as well as on its Wikipedia page before you came along, as well as on its Google info hub (to the right of this search). You would have to have some very compelling counter-evidence to overturn three credible sources and previous consensus.
Again, please review the definition of the term you are using: black comedy; it doesn't even remotely apply to the movie you are discussing. Also please refrain from being inflammatory, even if you mean it in jest. If your point can not be made on the strength of citations and facts alone, then your point can not be made. And, again, if you still think this change should be made, start a new section on the talk page for Jackie Brown so that others can participate in the conversation.
