welcome to Wikipedia :). Not everyone gets that loud feedback when joining Wikipedia to improve articles (on the other hand, there are people in this wiki who are doing such lovely work that one couldn't be loud enough to applaud them). I am quite confident that there are a lot of people around who will be offering their help in the policy jungle and style advises and explaining all the aspects of Wikipedia.
