Note: for the first four years I'd been editing, I used the "page move" method of archiving, believing it to be the better system. But in May 2010 I switched to using copy-paste so that old diff links would still work. Of course, the really old diff links, from before I switched, still don't work, but any links made from May 2010 onward should.
