Hello Stan, I'm writing to ask if you could correct the Shiprock page entry - again. I'm diastar and can't find my damned login. Years ago, the Navajo Nation issued a public statement that climbing Shiprock is illegal: that reference is gone and the old references to first climb and easiest route are back. There is no reference to it being illegal to climb at all. I'm really not interested in another wikibattle - but you seemed to find reasonable and wikicorrect solutions. It actually matters to people and many people were very happy that the public wiki entry was corrected. Maybe you can find the reversions. Personally, I think it is in bad taste for people to ignore that whole discussion and delete so much.

I hope you can solve this or support the corrections that I'll try to do correctly. sigh.

As we understand it, you’ve shared the image on Wikipedia and it is public domain. We’d like to ask for your permission to use the above image in both books.

If you grant permission… 1) Please let me know how your photo credit should read. 2) We’d like to send you a free copy of the book. What is your mailing address?
