Vasylkiv (Ukrainian: Васильків, IPA: [wɐsɪlʲˈkiu̯], Russian: Васильков, romanized: Vasilkov) is a city on the Stuhna River in Obukhiv Raion, Kyiv Oblast, central Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Vasylkiv urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine.[1] First mentioned in the 10th century, Vasylkiv was incorporated as a city in 1796.
The city hosts Vasylkiv Air Base and is an industrial centre, producing electrical appliances and leather goods. Population: 37,068 (2022 estimate).[2]
