Velanidia (Greek: Βελανίδια) is a village and a community in Laconia, Greece, within the municipality of Monemvasia.[2] It is situated at the southern edge of Peloponnese at the southeast edge of mountain range Parnon. It includes several Byzantine churches, giving it the nickname Small Agios Oros. This village is near Cape Maleas. Population 368 (2021).[1]
