WCLG (1300 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Morgantown, West Virginia, carrying a classic country.[1] Serving both Morgantown and Monongalia County, WPDX is owned by WVRC Media and operated under their AJG Corporation licensee.[2][6]

Launched on December 27, 1954, WPDX signed on as WCLG with broadcasting a "music-news" format. The station was originally intended to be a part of a statewide network of stations. Over the years, the station was subject to an equal-time rule complaint and was awarded for its coverage of the Farmington Number 9 mine disaster.

A planned 2013 sale of WCLG (and its sister-station WCLG-FM) was halted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) due to a complaint that the company buying the stations, AJG Corporation, had close connections with another local broadcaster, West Virginia Radio Corporation (now WVRC Media). The sale was ultimately allowed to proceed and was completed in 2015.

Many different formats were heard on the station during the 1970s and 1980s, with its current format launched in 2023. WPDX is a full-time simulcast of Clarksburg sister-station WPDX-FM.
