Wat Arun (Thai: วัดอรุณ, pronounced [wát ʔā.rūn]) is one of two khwaeng (subdistrict) of Bangkok Yai District, Bangkok, apart from Wat Tha Phra. It can be considered an important area in terms of history and tourism.
