The Western Australian Debating League, colloquially known as WADL, is the Western Australian Affiliate body of the Australia Debating Federation. Their mission is to ensure all students have meaningful access to debating that encourages critical thinking, foster engagement with global issues, and equip students with lifelong skills and the confidence to pursue their potential. WADL aims to do this by ensuring all WA school students have access to challenging debating competitions, high quality resources, and purpose-built development opportunities.^[1]

WADL is responsible for administering the Western Australian Representative Team for the National Schools Debating Championship, as well as the local Schools Debating Competition and British Parliamentary Competitions.
