The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is a department of the Government of the Western Cape, responsible for providing public healthcare to the population of the Western Cape province of South Africa.

The political head of the department is the Provincial Minister of Health and Wellness; as of 2015 this is Mireille Wenger of the Democratic Alliance.[1] The administrative head is the Superintendent-General of Health; as of 2010 this was Professor Craig Househam.[2] In the 2010/11 financial year, the department had 27,993 employees and a budget of R11,962,863,000.[3]
