The Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) is a United Kingdom non-departmental public body set up to support democratic institutions overseas.[1][2][3][4] It was established on 26 February 1992 and registered as a company limited by guarantee in the UK.[5] It receives funding from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

Former UK diplomat Anthony Smith has served as CEO since August 2014.[6][7]
