It was founded by the Mangalji family.[2] It is one of the biggest hospitality management companies.[3] It currently is managed by Majid Mangalji.[4] The total revenue for this company is $700 million.[citation needed]

The company has strategic alliances with Intercontinental Hotels (as Holiday Inn), Choice Hotels (as Comfort Inn and Quality Inn), Hilton Hotels, Radisson Hotels, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
