The song was written by Pop Smoke, alongside producer IAmTash, with additional writing credits going to Elgin Lumpkin (Ginuwine) and Troy Oliver for the interpolation and sampling of Ginuwine's "Differences". The song was released as the fifth single from the album on October 9, 2020, by Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. An R&B track, it lyrically showcases Pop Smoke singing about his passion for his lover.
