Wierzchowice [vjɛʂxɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Krośnice, within Milicz County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Krośnice, 7 km (4 mi) south-east of Milicz, and 45 km (28 mi) north-east of the regional capital Wrocław.

During World War II the Germans established and operated a subcamp of the Gross-Rosen concentration camp in the village, whose prisoners were Jewish women transported from the Auschwitz concentration camp.[2]
