The assistance provided to you by legitimate Wikipedia editors and volunteers will always be completely free. Real editors will never contact or solicit you for payment or compensation in exchange for assistance.
If anyone contacts you promoting any "premium" or "paid" Wikipedia services or assistance to you, or if anyone attempts to persuade you to pay (or "donate") any amount of money or provide compensation of any amount or of any kind in exchange for assistance with publishing your article, it is a scam.
- Do not reply or respond to them - even if to tell them that you know or are aware of their attempts to scam you. Stop all communication with them.
- Do not agree, promise, plan, arrange, or attempt to send any kind of payment or compensation to them.
- Do not follow any of their directions or instructions.
- Do not believe anything they tell you as being truthful.
- Do not give them any of your personal information or account information.
- Do not click on or follow any website links or URLs that they give to you.
If anyone attempts to contact you in this (or a similar) manner, please forward a copy of the entire email conversation, including email headers, to paid-en-wp
