After a bit of a break, this is the next instalment of AFL-related content I am nominating for FLC. I have tried something new this time, and have focused on crafting a season summary for the Geelong Football Club (one of the clubs in the league). This covers the recently completed 2019 season, and I hope this will serve as an example that can replicated for other clubs and seasons. Allied45 (talk) 03:25, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Allied45, there's no Australian rules featured content related to seasons to compare this to, but in my experience of association football articles, season pages are not classed as lists. So this would be better suited being nominated for GA rather than here. I would expect more prose to be included as well, there's nothing that describes the actual events of the season only the preseason changes. Kosack (talk) 07:25, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed - season articles in soccer have always been treated as, well, articles, not lists, and many are at GA such as 1922–23 Cardiff City F.C. season. I would suggest working this up as a potential GA or even FA, but as noted it will need prose covering the actual events of the season -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 09:07, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
