- Comment Nice to see so much improvement! My comments:
- maybe the Featured Article section could provide a more global view. Currently is US/UK heavy (12 of 20).
- maybe the Featured Picture section could provide a more global view. Currently is somewhat America heavy (11 of 20). Not clear why the 15 has been included, as does not lead to an art article, nor does it appear to represent art.
- many of the quotes have poor images (for instance File:Ani DiFranco concert.jpg, File:Robert Redford 2005.jpg), wonder if wouldn't be better not to have images at all in that section.
- the subportals section looks like a dog's breakfast. First I'm not sure if Radio, Technology or Video games really belong there. Second, the icons used are all of different style (BW icons, colour graphs, images). Would be nice if it could be more consistent for instance by using P icons or similar style wherever possible.
- Hope this helps. --ELEKHHT 21:07, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Thanks very much for the comments. I'll look this over in more depth and give a response soon. ;) — Cirt (talk) 21:26, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Done. I've gone ahead and added ten (10) more selections to the Featured Article section. All are non-US/UK.
- Done. Also I've added ten (10) additional selections to the Featured Picture section. All are non-US/UK.
- Done. Swapped out the picture at Portal:Arts/Featured picture/15. Changed it to an arts-relevant picture with link to an arts-relevant article. Note that page was also replaced with non-US/UK selection.
- Done. Replaced images for quotes by Ani DiFranco and Robert Redford. You'd have to give more specific suggestions about other ones, but many featured portals have pictures to go along with quotes.
- The subportals section uses template {{Related portals2}}, now standard at many other featured portals. The images for the icons are selected using the same images as template {{Portal}}. As this process is not related to this specific portal, it's not really relevant to this particular discussion.

- Fantastic! Few more things:
- Abbas Kiarostami at FA22 would probably fit better as biography.
- When illustrating biographies, if possible would select images of the subject person (see FB14, FB16), so that visually there is a clear distinction to selected articles. --ELEKHHT 13:35, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Done. As suggested by Elekhh (talk · contribs), moved Abbas Kiarostami to biography section.
- Done. I've replaced images in selected biographies to match the subjects described therein.
- This starts to look pretty good. Few more minor questions/ comments.
- Martial arts is listed as a related WikiProject although neither WikiProject Art nor WikiProject Martial arts state that would be related.
- In the FA section, Malagasy cuisine seems to be more in scope of Portal:Culture than Arts.
- The News section currently seems to rely on Wikinews only, which has very poor coverage of arts. It would be great if it would be possible to simply add items to that section, and there would be clear instructions regarding how to do that.
- Sorry for my patchy postings, should have given more comprehensive feedback from the start. --ELEKHHT 02:41, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Done. I've removed Martial arts from listing as related WikiProject.
- Done. I've swapped out Malagasy cuisine, removed it.
- The News section does rely on Wikinews through the wonderful feature, Wikinews Importer Bot (talk · contribs). The issue would simply be to tag more articles in the appropriate categories, over at Wikinews, we have plenty of articles on the subject matter. :)
Thank you for your additional helpful suggestions, — Cirt (talk) 03:39, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm afraid there aren't that many art related news on Wikinews left untagged. Regardless of this FPC, I would find it beneficial to be able to add art news manually. --ELEKHHT 04:11, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Okay, both can work as options in the future going forwards. :) — Cirt (talk) 04:29, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
