The result of the discussion was: no consensus. No one except the nominator is advocating deletion at this time. Some users pointed out that perhaps the guidance outlined at WP:COUNCIL/G should be made a requirement, namely that the proposal of new wikiprojects at WP:COUNCIL/P should be a mandatory step in their creation. Anyone is free to start a discussion to see if there is consensus for that in the appropriate venue.
