This article has been the subject of much work over the past few weeks, as we are trying to finally bring it up to featured article status. The categories have been re-done as was suggested a while ago on Wikipedia:WikiProject Cities and some of the content has been re-done and added to. We are just looking for some suggestions on how this article can be further improved so it can eventually be elevated to Featured Article status.

- The images look a bit messy, somehow...The resolution of the location map is rather low... :-/ -- Jerry Crimson Mann 04:37, 13 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, the map and city seal could certainly be less blurry. Also Image:Secondcity.jpg needs to be tagged. Aside from that, is it normal for the "Museums & galleries" section to be bulleted? I'd appreciate just prose like the rest. Also, all of the section headings have every word capitalized, only the first one should be, unless there are proper nouns (same goes for all the image captions). And the sports and education sections seem short in context with the rest of the article. But all in all, one of the best city articles I've seen. --Dmcdevit·t 05:26, July 13, 2005 (UTC)
- It looks good and is one of the better pages on a major city. There are still some issues. {{Chicago}} is much too large. It looks bad on this page and it looks hideous on one like Fuller Park, Chicago, where the template is at least 20 times the size of the article. The ==Infrastructure== with its lone ==Health and Medicine== subsection also seems somewhat out of place. Chicago must have more infrastructure than just that related to health. Either ==Health and Medicine== should be made a top level heading and infrastructure dropped, or transportation, education, and other sections should be moved under ==Infrastructure==. It would also be useful to have a map of the city, see the Mumbai featured article for several good examples of such maps. - SimonP 13:42, July 13, 2005 (UTC)
- I have revised the Chicago template so that it is nowhere near as large. The new version only includes links to the individule sub-categories (ie. Geography), and not the individule articles contained in the sub-categories. I agree that the old one was much too large. I have moved it to Template:Chicago2 if anyone still wants to use it. I have also changed the heading of Infrustructure to Health and Medicine; we were planning another sub-category but decided not to pursue it. And the caps was my bad-ill change that ASAP.
- Thanks

The table of contents (TOC) is rather overwhelming. A lot of the sub-headings are unnecessaty and they should just be removed. No change of text would be required. I point to the Education and Transport sections as prime examples of too much subdividing. It'd be an easy by effective change. Harro5 09:27, July 14, 2005 (UTC)
