Wikipedia is a Volunteer Service. This means that whenever it comes to creating or improving pages and things around here, there is no deadline. But with so many WikiProjects to work with, and so many things to improve, there is an increased need for an environment facilitating a number of dedicated users working together as well as welcoming new users into the circle. Quite simply, The Buck Stops Here.
It is a fact that many of our WikiProjects are in disuse. Many others will likely to be so, save the constant work of one or two editors. At this very instant, there are many such projects and collaborations by users which are extremely vital for the project as a whole in the future, and which need our collaborative help. We cannot let these projects fall too. Someone will have to Keep the Ball Rolling, making sure not to 'plow the field' as long as necessary.
This is a group of dedicated editors with several common goals. Our goals include, but are not exclusively - Create a friendly atmosphere; Improve collaborations on the Wiki; make it easier for new editors to edit here; and get the most important articles to the best quality standards possible. We try and make sure that the relevant projects dealing with our common areas of interest have a constant stream of dedicated editors working round the clock to keep it working. We also discuss any proposal and idea that would impact our shared interests and concerns.
New editors are welcome, but disruptors are not. Another set of hands ten fingers eight fingers and two thumbs could do nothing but more good to the project. All editors who might share our goals are very much welcome here. Especially our newer editors. After all, its always important to "Keep the Ball Rolling".
