Wikipedia:The 2500 Challenge (Nordic)

We are aiming to reach 2500 article improvements and creations for the Nordic countries long term from general independent article contribution, based on the Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. We encourage all editors from Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Finland and elsewhere!) to contribute towards this as seeing 2500 article improvements/creations on one list would really be worth working towards long term and help build esteem for these countries on English wikipedia, to really show what progress we're making. Anybody can contribute any article on the Nordic countries, from biographies to institutions and churches!, so please feel free to add to this list independently whenever they feel like it if you've worked on an article related to any of these countries. Article cleanup and basic referencing improvements, expansions, new articles, DYKs, Good Articles, Featured Articles etc, are all welcome. The general focus is on quality, expansions or minimum start class articles are preferred, but meatier stubs provided that they're well-sourced and useful are also welcome.

Note that this 2500 Challenge is not a contest in itself. It's too early to talk about contests, but if support and participation in this took off there's always the possibilility of involving some of the Scandinavian area Wiki chapters and Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish wikipedia etc and staging some national contests to fuel production on this and even surpass 2500 articles!. Let's see how this goes first though. Overall the main aim with this is to improve existing articles and make new articles consistently of reasonable quality, so to inject quality in articles across the region. I would be very grateful if people could help spread the word on this, invite potential contributors who often work on articles related to these countries and we can see what can be achieved!
