Welcome to the Solar System taskforce, a collaboration area and group of editors dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of the Solar System. Another of our goals is to create guidelines for articles about the Solar System. To leave a new message for the project to read, click here.
This project covers all articles about the Solar System, and everything inside it.
Nrco0e (talk·contribs) Willing to improve and expand articles on natural satellites, minor planets, and dwarf planets of my interest, mainly focused in the trans-Neptunian region.
Darryl Ohlenbusch (talk·contribs)interested in featuring more recently-obtained visual material, mainly photographs, of solar system objects...fond memories of National Geographic in pre-Internet era.
Human3015 (talk·contribs) Willing to create articles on Asteroids, craters and anything related to any planet or moon which don't has article.
I am a Wikipedian (talk·contribs) Mostly (everything about) minor planets and moons...but also the Oort cloud and farther things
Iminrainbows (talk·contribs) Everything, fascinated by near space and would love to help out. Favorite planet: Mars. Also interested in Kuiper Belt, Comets, and very far outer Solar System.
Jagun (talk·contribs) Pretty much anything, but especially objects from Jupiter outwards.
SkarmCA (talk·contribs) I have an interest in the outer solar system. This inclues planets, moons, and TNOs.
Sleddog116 (talk·contribs) Not a specialist in much of anything, but I am interested in the solar system and can assist with grammatical cleanup (I'm an English major) and revise awkward phrasing.
Tfr000 (talk·contribs) Specialty is celestial mechanics. I know a good deal about the fundamental ephemerides of the astronomical almanacs: how they are/were generated, how to apply them. I wrote Fundamental_ephemeris recently.
Universe=atom (talk·contribs) I am working to improve all the articles in the Solar System topic to Featured status (mainly planets, though). I have improved the article Saturn to Featured Status, as seen here.
VirtualDave (talk·contribs) Mars, Asteroids and the Outer Solar System, but am willing to work on any subject.
Volcanopele (talk·contribs) Moons of the outer solar system, particularly active ones like Io, Titan, and Enceladus.
The following are all of the featured content within the scope of the Solar System taskforce. Featured content represents the best of what Wikipedia has to offer. These are the articles, pictures, and other contributions that showcase the polished result of the collaborative efforts that drive Wikipedia. All featured content undergoes a thorough review process to ensure that it meets the highest standards and can serve as an example of our end goals.
This is a list of recognized content, updated weekly by JL-Bot (talk·contribs) (typically on Saturdays). There is no need to edit the list yourself. If an article is missing from the list, make sure it is tagged or categorized (e.g. Category:Solar System task force articles) correctly and wait for the next update. See WP:RECOG for configuration options.
The following are all of the good articles within the scope of the Solar System task force. Good articles are articles containing excellent content, but which have not yet reached the featured article standard or are unlikely to reach this high standard soon due to a variety of reasons; however, providing an article meets certain quality standards and has passed through the good article nomination process, it may be listed as a good article, which is equivalent to grade GA of the Wikipedia article grading scheme. If you can improve them to make them featured articles, please do.
