This task force was established on April 8, 2011 with 26 featured lists and 8 good articles. It encompasses articles about the Grammy Awards, which are presented by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, as well as the Latin Grammy Awards, which are presented by the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences. Since category names change over time and awards are presented annually, articles and lists are updated frequently. If you are interesting in assisting, feel free to join the Grammy Awards task force by adding your name to the list of participants below and reading the talk page for recent discussion.
The purpose of this project is to have all articles and lists for Grammy Award categories, along with several special Grammy accolades, at their highest possible quality. For many categories, the highest achievable quality is featured list status. For some categories it may be good status, or even lower if the category has a short life span and is therefore less likely to become featured content.
Consistency among lists is strongly preferred. One beneficial byproduct of generating featured lists is the creation of stubs for many Grammy-winning artists and works lacking articles, since having a "minimal proportion" of redlinked items is required for lists to be awarded featured status. Imagine the amount of information available to users if every Grammy nominee and winner in every award category, along with their works, are collected and displayed properly!
