Welcome to the sixth Bugle edition of 2016! After last issue's bi-monthly format, we're back to our regular monthly programming...
Last month, the Military History Project rolled out two new task forces: Culture, traditions, and heraldry and Logistics and medicine. Additionally, the Science and Technology task force was rebranded as the Science, technology, and theory task force.
The article news section is a bit smaller than usual this issue, with no MilHist articles promoted to featured status last month. However, it highlights the first new military history-related featured topic for a few months, as well as several new featured pictures and A-class articles.
In our regular book review section, Nick-D looks at a new history of the Australian Imperial Force raised during World War I. Continuing the theme, TomStar81's World War I timeline provides a summary of the key events in the world during July 1916. Tom also goes into greater detail on the major battle of the month in his op-ed.
Don't forget that contributions to future editions are very welcome -- please feel free to post them directly on the Bugle's newsroom, or contact either of the editors.
Your editors, Ian Rose (talk) and Nick-D (talk)
