The Pittsburgh Steelers subproject is a part of the NFL WikiProject which organizes information related to the National Football League (NFL). The Steelers subproject organizes articles concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers franchise based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In 2009 the Steelers became the first team to have won six Super Bowl championships. The Steelers have a proud tradition of strong fan support, with all football games played in Pittsburgh having been sold out since 1972—over 300 consecutive games. The team competes in the AFC North division of the NFL.
