| The scope of this project is all articles that deal with the nation of Qatar. All of these articles should be included in the Category:Qatar or one of its subcategories.

| Subject structure and navigation
|
Goals pertaining to the structure of the subject itself include:
- Refine and maintain the Outline of Qatar, a key guide on Wikipedia to Qatar as a subject. It serves as a table of contents, summary, and topic outline of coverage on the political entity Qatar and is the most useful tool for exploring and understanding fundamental material about Qatar (and how it fits together) on Wikipedia. This project simply enables readers to see at a glance how the subject of Qatar is compartmentalized, what the component topics are, and how they relate to each other. Because of its central role in the presentation of Wikipedia's coverage of this subject, it is very important to develop and maintain it to the highest level of quality: to help readers improve their conceptual awareness and understanding of Qatar as well as find their way around this subject on Wikipedia.
