Screencasts – brief videos that demonstrate how to use a web site, a piece of software, etc. – can be very effective instructional tools. They can be used to bring newbies up to speed on both technical and policy issues. This WikiProject is dedicated to producing effective screencasts on Wikimedia sites; how to edit, how various community and collaborative processes work, etc.

- /Screencast Factory - ideas and scripts – ideas for individual screencasts, of the hundreds that we hope to inspire. Add your own ideas, or pick a screencast to work on - either by yourself, or with some collaborators.
