This project was founded on January 24, 2007 as the first WikiProject specifically focused on conflict resolution. It was not needed anymore after the end of the Sri Lanka Civil war in 2009 and was shut down by a founding member in February 2015.

Its subpage /Sources continues to be used and is occasionally updated.

This was the home page of the now closed WikiProject Sri Lanka Reconciliation, a bipartisan effort to improve collaboration on and coverage of the Sri Lankan Civil War.

Everybody was invited to participate in discussions on the talk page.
