This project was founded on January 24, 2007 as the first WikiProject specifically focused on conflict resolution. It was not needed anymore after the end of the Sri Lanka Civil war in 2009 and was shut down by a founding member in February 2015.
Its subpage /Sources continues to be used and is occasionally updated.
Readers interested in its history are invited to take a look at the following:
This was the home page of the now closed WikiProject Sri Lanka Reconciliation, a bipartisan effort to improve collaboration on and coverage of the Sri Lankan Civil War.
Everybody was invited to participate in discussions on the talk page.
This project page could be edited by all members. To become a member, editors were asked to write a short message in the Members and applications section.
