I think it's time we have our own in-house WikiCup... the WPTC Bowl! It started on January 1, but anyone can join at any time.
The rules are as follows:
- Points are awarded for how articles are improved, one point for each class. Stub to Start is 1 point, Start to C is 1 point, and so on. If you get a stub-class article to C-class, you get two points.
- If you get an article featured, you get one additional point. GA to FA would be 3 points.
- If you make a new article and get it to GA, you get 2 points.
- New articles get a bonus point if they are on vital articles list or on the article requests page.
- However, if you create any article and get it featured, you get 8 points.
- High-importance articles get twice the point value. Top-importance articles get three times the point value.
- A new article that is created and is high-importance would get 2 points for stub, 4 for start, 6 for C, 8 for B, and 10 for GA. After all, some storms slip through the cracks on the vital article list.
- Any of the 1726 articles with a Template:Hurricane tag on the talk page can be included for the contest.
