Vital articles improvement program

It's right in the name: expand short Vital articles to 30 kilobytes in wikitext page size (not readable prose size) by 31 August 2022.

The articles are of a wide range of topics, ranging from natural sciences to the humanities, so don't be afraid to join! You don't need to join our Vital Articles WikiProject to participate, though doing so would be much appreciated :) The drive emphasizes on adding high-quality content and references to articles, not getting as many articles past 30kb as possible through low-quality spams. However, feel free to use tools that make semi-automated edits, such as AutoWikiBrowser and the Internet Archive bot.

Our definition of the article size is the number that you see in the edit history, not the readable prose size found in XTool. This is done both to simplify drive operations (so that we can use the robust PetScan tool) and encourage adding references as a form of content expansion. Because our ultimate goal is to make all Vital articles good and featured by 2032, we cannot neglect short and stubby Vital articles. This drive can be compared to the Project Mercury, developing preliminary skills and experience for the lunar landing.
