Welcome to WikiFundi !!
6,883,605 pages

WikiFundi is a platform that allows you to create Wikipedia articles offline.

WikiFundi helps you and your friends to create new articles and work on them together, without needing access to Internet. You can only work on these articles when you are within range of the server hosting WikiFundi and only when it is switched on. Once you are happy with your article, then you will be able to copy and paste these completed articles into the main online Wikipedia space. Your contribution will be on Wikipedia for everyone to see. Naturally, you need to be connected to the Internet to copy your contribution onto Wikipedia !

Feel free to also use WikiFundi to collaboratively edit a page. You can also use it to write a community report or collaborate on a story, or create a school magazine or community newspaper. There are many things you can do!

WikiFundi for teachers ...

Whether you are part of a WikiChallenge or WikiAfrica School programme, or just starting this adventure on your own ... creating Wikipedia articles as part of a schools programme has been proved to benefit students in multiple ways. You can start by looking through this information that is specifically created to answer questions from educators and students. Remember that your school's contribution doesn't have to to be to English Wikipedia. We recommend that some articles would be better for a local language Wikipedia, WikiBooks and WikiVoyage, or for a younger audience on Vikidia (www.vikidia.org). All the elements the students are learning about here also apply for these projects too.
