What a pity that Bilbo [a WikiHobbit] did not banish that vile creature [Gollum—a WikiFallen], when he had a chance!
— The WikiHobbit Frodo
Pity? It was pity that stayed his hand. Many that edit deserve banishment. And some that get banished deserve to edit. Can you make them able to? Then do not be too eager to deal out banishment in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that he has some part to play yet, for good or ill, before the end; and when that comes, the pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many—yours not least.
— The WikiWizard Gandalf
A WikiWizard is an editor who edits in order to keep the universe in order, by fixing small errors, helping with dispute resolutions, and occasionally helping fight vandalism and trolls. WikiWizards are most effective when attacking vandals, using spells such as Twinkle or Huggle to identify vandals and the fatal revert spell to finish them off. Some of the more powerful WikiWizards can use the more effective rollback spell after being granted the power by a more powerful WikiWizard. Some WikiWizards can even use the most powerful spell of all, the blocking spell, after many other WikiFauna have granted them the power. Some WikiWizards stay solitary, communicating with fellow WikiFauna only when necessary, while others boost their powers by creating new templates and tools and using them to do whatever they wish to do (while maintaining order). One of the easiest ways to attract a WikiWizard is to either incorrectly cite or not cite a fact. A WikiWizard should show up in due time and wave their wand to properly cite the necessary facts. WikiWizards do not particularly care for WikiDragons, WikiGiants, or WikiImps, and despise WikiGremlins. To confuse a WikiWizard with their dark reflection, a WikiWarlock, is to venture down a perilous road indeed.
