The goal of the course is to understand the relationship of body plans across animal phyla.
Students are requested to research and present a topic in evolutionary developmental biology. Chosen topics may focus on the origin of a morphological structure, or a life cycle feature, or a concept in evolutionary developmental biology. Preparation for this presentation should also result in the substantial improvement of an existing article, or a new article, in Wikipedia.
