Aaaaarrrgh. It is frustrating to see a poorly written blurb about a featured article.
Consider the following:
1. "... produced by the BBC and concerning the adventures..." Poor syntax. The article itself reads "... that concerns..." --Better as it has no syntatical problems. One might also simply use "about."
2. Then there's this sentence: "The programme was and remains a significant part of British popular culture, widely recognised for its creative storytelling, use of innovative music which was produced by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, and budget special effects.
O.k, that's off my chest. Don't get me wrong, I love the home page and the featured article. Most of the time it's very well-written. But sometimes... So what do we do? The only avenue I could find was this. Sunray 07:56, 2004 Dec 16 (UTC)
