Track of Hurricane Hattie
Track of Hurricane Hattie
Radar image of Hurricane Hattie

@Wehwalt, Dank, and Hurricanehink: Considering the recent outcome of the discussion at ERRORS about images for hurricane TFA blurbs, should I change this to the track? It is pretty informative. --- C&C (Coffeeandcrumbs) 09:10, 26 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think the radar image is more powerful, personally. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 16:52, 26 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hurricanehink But it imparts very little information. It looks just like any other hurricane. Nothing interesting except for the very well defined eye but the average reader is not going to notice that. --- C&C (Coffeeandcrumbs) 18:25, 26 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
True, it looks like any other hurricane, but considering it was 1961, I think it's neat that we have the actual radar imagery of this storm, which I think could strike some curiosity, given how much more advanced radar imagery is nowadays. I'm fine with the track map though, as that conveys more information, it's just not as exciting. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 00:06, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Coffeeandcrumbs: Do you have a link/time-frame/quick summary for that discussion? I missed it at the time and I'm having trouble locating it. – Juliancolton | Talk 17:21, 26 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
