We need another picture to replace Commons:Image:Chesimard jd6.jpg at TFA. See Commons:Commons:Deletion requests/Image:Assata shakur2.jpg. --199.71.174.100 (talk) 03:07, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Writing in the blurb is atrocious. "and BLA member Zayd Malik Shakur were killed and Shakur and Trooper James Harper were wounded." Shaur was killed and also wounded? Need to differentiate that it was two different people. Not only that, but the summary skips around with time frames and says first "Shakur was accused of several crimes, of which she would never be convicted," and then "In 1977, she was convicted of the first-degree murder". Seriously, who proofread this? SWATJester Son of the Defender 14:40, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As a note, the article itself is pretty bad in terms of having some POV statements that aren't adequately supported or explained, massive jumps in timeline that go back and contradict each other, and statements that are proffered and then never developed any further. Is this really the quality of article we're putting on the main page? SWATJester Son of the Defender 14:43, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
