Major General William Francis Mullen III (15 July 1964 – June 29, 2024) was an officer in the United States Marine Corps.[1] He last served as the commanding general for Training and Education Command. He was deployed in Fallujah, Iraq, in 2007 during Operation Iraqi Freedom.[2] He co-wrote a book with Daniel Green called Fallujah Redux: The Anbar Awakening and the Struggle with Al-Qaeda.[3]
