William Charles Inboden III (born November 7, 1972) is an American academic, writer, and former White House staffer. Inboden is the executive director and William Powers, Jr. Chair of the Clements Center for National Security at the University of Texas at Austin.[1] He also serves as an associate professor of public affairs at the LBJ School of Public Affairs[2] and Distinguished Scholar at the Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law, as well as a Senior Fellow at the Trinity Forum.[3] On June 12, 2023, it was announced[4] that he is joining the University of Florida as the director of the Hamilton Center. He is married to Dr. Rana Siu Inboden.
