The population was 3,346 at the time of the 2020 census.[2] Williamsburg is known for Holden's Foundation Seeds, a foundation seed corn company, and Kinze Manufacturing, Inc., a farm implement manufacturer. Aviation pioneer Eugene Ely was born outside Williamsburg.
