Yaita (矢板市, Yaita-shi) is a city located in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 July 2020[update], the city had an estimated population of 31,859 in 13,173 households,[1] and a population density of 67 persons per km². The total area of the town is 170.46 square kilometres (65.81 sq mi).
